2026 “Embrace” Spokane Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade Award Honorees Announced

[Spokane, WA] The Spokane Lilac Festival Association announces the award honorees of the 2026 Spokane Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade in the float, equestrian, and marching band categories.

The parade took place on Saturday evening, May 16, 2026. Judging took place throughout the day and during the parade.

Queen’s Award (Best in Population 500-2,000)

  • 1st Place: #60 – Freeman
  • 2nd Place: #31 – Manson

President’s Award (Best in Population 2,000-15,000)

Grand Marshall Award (Best in Population 15,000-700,000)

Marching Band Awards

The following schools earned “Lilac Gold Standard Awards” at the 2026 Armed Forces Torchlight Parade. The order is in alphabetical order and does not represent a hierarchy. The Lilac Gold Standard represents a high level of excellence. All bands in the parade, regardless of school or band size are eligible for this award. They are chosen by two expert band adjudicators.
