Time, Talent, & Treasure

Partner

Festival partnerships allow your company to gain year-round exposure to the greater Spokane community, and beyond, at the largest armed forces torchlight parade in the USA, all while showing your Lilac Love!  Sponsorship opportunities include general festival, events, programs, and even scholarships.

Donate

The Spokane Lilac Festival Association is a volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization. As a nonprofit, we rely on generous donations from the community. Giving your time, talent, and treasure goes far beyond the spring parade. It means investing in the future of our area’s youth, ensuring the support of our troops, and providing lasting memories for people in our region.

Volunteer

Our events and programs are run 100% by volunteers, including the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade, the largest armed forces torchlight parade in the nation, right here in the heart of the Lilac City. So when you give your time and talents, the community gets to treasure the Spokane Lilac Festival Association. We depend on your support to continue to be one of the region’s longest running community events.

Estate Giving

If you are planning your estate, please consider giving at least 5% to the Spokane Lilac Festival Fund at Innovia Foundation. This fund will be used to support the general operations of the SLFA to endure.

By committing 5% of your wealth to local organizations like the SLFA, we can make sure our personal investment continues to grow even after we’re gone. Nearly everyone in our region has enough to share, especially when we look at non-cash gifts.  The potential to benefit communities through planned end-of-life gifts from our estates is one of the best ways to ensure that the charitable organization and communities we care about most continue for generations. Whether it is through your will or a simple beneficiary designation, planning now to support the Spokane Lilac Festival Association Endowment Fund can create your charitable legacy with a transformational and lasting impact.

Purchase your 2024 "Dare to Dream" Pin!

The 2024 theme pin – a tradition established in 1984 – designed by Spokane artist, Chris Bovey, is a celebration of iconic images from the 1974 World’s Fair, including the official expo blue and green, the US Pavilion, lilac buds, and the iconic abstract purple butterfly with wings spread. One of four butterflies located throughout the Expo `74 site, these butterflies served as a location marker for fair attendees, and also reflected the sustainable theme of the fair, moving with the power of the wind and elements.
