Dear Friends of the Lilac Festival,

As we move into the holiday season, I hope you’re finding moments to slow down, stay warm, and embrace the beauty that surrounds us — from the glow of twinkling lights to the simple joy of gathering with loved ones.

Our theme this year, “Embrace,” feels especially meaningful during this season of gratitude and giving. It reminds us to embrace our community, our traditions, and one another — to celebrate all that connects us. Whether it’s sharing a meal at Thanksgiving or volunteering your time to help others, every act of kindness adds to the spirit that makes our Lilac Festival family so special.

We’re also excited to invite you to our annual Holiday Brunch on December 6th! It’s a wonderful way to kick off the festive season with friends, good food, and holiday cheer. We hope to see many of you there as we gather to celebrate all that this year has brought and look forward to what’s ahead.

December is also an exciting month for our future Lilac Festival Ambassadors — applications are being submitted and we can’t wait to introduce them to the community. These young leaders truly embody the heart of our mission: honoring our military, empowering our youth, and showcasing our region.

As the weather turns colder, I encourage everyone to take time to reflect, reach out, and embrace the warmth of this incredible community. Together, we’re building something beautiful — one event, one smile, one lilac at a time.
